Dear Homer & Kenai Peninsula Friends, I will be coming down this weekend for the Church on the Rock Homer Missions Conference Oct. 17-19. If you want to hear an amazing Carry the Cure, Inc. update, come to the Sunday Night Desert Night at SPARC @ 6:30pm. Other things I'll be doing: Sunday morning service at 10:30am Homer High School, Sunday Desert Night at 6:30pm (6 min. Spotlight), Monday morning at Alaska Bible Institute, I'll be sharing for 45 mins 9:15am - 10am. You can come talk to me at my booth at the COTR H sunday morning service, Desert Night or Banquet Night. I'm so thankful for your generosity, prayers and support. Alaska is a better place because you send us to the most remote areas. We've visited 193 villages so far. Help send us to the remaining 23. CTC is thankful for more invitations to help prevent su***de in the Mat Su. CTC needs your help! Friday, Oct. 2 10am - 3pm we need 1) set-up volunteers {must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.} 2) First Responders, business owners and community leaders to stand with students at the Committed to Life school assembly and declare the Committed to Life Vow to show students the Mat Su cares! 3) Donations of all kinds: financial and in-kind good/services. www.carrythecure.org

You can learn how to save someone from su***de! During the month of September, I will be offering the QPR (Question, Persaude, Refer) gatekeeper training to churches, businesses and community. If you have a group that you'd like me to train (your staff, church or group) contact me. You just need 10 or more to set it up. Cost is $5 plus a suggested donation to Carry the Cure. The $5 covers the cost of the book and materials. I will be trying to arrange a couple of trainings open to the public (TBA). Please pray for those in need.
