The Palmer Community Foundation (PCF) Grant application deadline is March 31, 2026.

This year the Alaska Community Foundation is contributing up to $10,000 in Nourished Communities Initiative matching funds toward PCF’s 2026 grant giving. Qualified PCF grant awardees who support local food security needs and programs are eligible for a 2:1 match. Example: A PCF grant of $1,500 to a proposed food security program or project will be matched 2:1 with an additional $3,000 for a total award of $4,500.

The Palmer Community Foundation is offering a free workshop for organizations who are applying for (or considering applying for) a 2026 PCF Grant. We will review the application process, explain the application questions, provide guidance about our objectives and to help your organization present the best possible application. This is a hands-on working session with time allotted to begin constructing the application for your specific project.
Seating is limited so please register online at our website in advance. The grant application period is open March 1 - March 31 and is open to local Palmer area non-profits and qualifying tribal organizations. Please visit the Palmer Community Foundation website for information and to download the application. We strongly encourage you to come and benefit from the information we will provide.

One-time grant alert! Applications for the Tending the Future Fund (Child Care) grants open Monday, Feb. 23. These grants support convenings focused on community-led solutions to strengthen sustainable child care funding across Alaska.

Two grant types are available:
🔹 Convening Grant: up to $7,000
🔹 Designing Grant: up to $15,000

PCF is excited to be hosting a free Grant Writing Workshop!

This 3-hour, hands-on grant writing workshop is designed to help applicants turn strong ideas into competitive grant applications for the Palmer Community Foundation. Participants will work directly with our team to understand funding priorities, eligibility requirements, and what makes a successful application.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be well-positioned to submit a thoughtful, compelling grant proposal.

When: Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1-4pm
Where: Mat-Su College FSM 202, seating is limited to 40
