🎓✨ Congratulations to Our 2026 Scholarship Recipients! ✨🎓

The Big Sandy Area Community Action Program is proud to recognize six exceptional students selected to receive scholarships through our annual scholarship program.

This year, BSACAP awarded five Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Scholarships and one Eula Hall Community Advocate Scholarship to students pursuing degrees in Special Education, Mechanical Engineering, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, and other fields dedicated to serving and strengthening our communities.

This year's recipients include first-generation college students, making their achievements even more remarkable. Their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to higher education reflect the bright future ahead for our region.

We are honored to support these students as they pursue their educational goals and work toward careers that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Investing in education is an investment in our communities, and we are excited to see all they will accomplish.

EKCEP Works was launched to help career advisors deliver a higher standard of service to every job seeker who walks through the door.

Here's what that looks like in practice: one platform, nine connected modules, including areas such as:

- Guided assessments that surface a client's skills, interests, and barriers
- Career exploration tools for researching occupations and pathways
- Individualized career planning that turns insight into action
- Resume and cover letter development, tailored to each opportunity
- AI-powered mock interviews with role-specific feedback
- An assignable training library covering digital literacy, financial literacy, soft skills, interview readiness, career exploration, and responsible AI use

The result: advisors deliver a consistent, professional-grade experience to every client — and every client walks out with a clearer path forward.
