Fragrance.com has stood beside Limb Kind since our very first Show Your Shine event in 2020! For SEVEN YEARS STRAIGHT, they have continuously supported our mission through sponsorships, donations, raffle items, and unwavering generosity.

Year after year, the Marotta Family continues to support Limb Kind in more ways than we could possibly ever count. With family, compassion, kindness, and heart at the center of all they do, they consistently show up for Jordan, for the limb different community, and for OUR Limb Kind family in every way imaginable ❤️.
We will never forget the phone call from Ashley shortly before SYS 2023. She had just discovered Limb Kind, and was SO excited to learn there was an organization right here on Long Island supporting children with limb differences. Jordan was only 3 years old at the time, and like so many parents navigating a new diagnosis or uncertainty, Ashley and Josh simply wanted their son to grow up surrounded by children like him… to feel seen, celebrated, understood, and PROUD of exactly who he is!!
And somehow, as life so beautifully works itself out, at that exact moment, a model spot had unexpected opened, and Jord was now joining SYS 2023!!!!✨
At just 4 yrs old, Jordan bravely took the runway holding Ashley’s hand for security, and walked down that runway with the SWEETEST, biggest smile imaginable. And from that moment on.. he became part of the heart of Limb Kind. ❤️.
Since then, Jordan has been part of almost every youth group and event we host. He is adored by everyone!!!
The truth is… Jordan is the light in so many people’s lives… including ours ❤️.

For the FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW, the incredible Abramowicz Family will return as a ✨GUIDING LIGHT SPONSOR✨ for Show Your Shine 2027!

There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude for this amazing family and the love and support they have shown Limb Kind year after year.

We first met Howie back in 2023 when Jordan Marotta convinced him to walk the runway in Show Your Shine 2024. In true Howie fashion, he begrudgingly said “YES” because, in his words… “How could I say no to Jord?!” 😂

That year, Howie took to the runway walking to “Walkin” by (GREAT choice, Howie 👏) and although he insisted he’d rather be a supporter than a model, we ALL know he made a huge impact that night. In a packed room of hundreds of people, he showed confidence, vulnerability, humor, and heart.

But what makes the Abramowicz family so special is that their support goes far beyond one night.

Rachael has been on the front lines of so many Limb Kind events and has played SUCH a huge role in the success of our raffles and fundraising efforts over the years. And Nola & Brody have both served as incredible Limb Kind Student Ambassadors, helping our foundation in more ways than we can count.

⭐️ SYS 2027 Keynote Speaker Announcement!!!🌟

We are deeply moved, excited AND honored to welcome Claudia Kalishman as a 2027 Keynote Speaker for Show Your Shine!!!!!!!

It has truly been our absolute pleasure watching Claudia grow into the incredible young woman she is today. Many of us at Limb Kind met Claudia shortly after her accident and amputation, and have witnessed her confidence blossom, and her spirit shine brighter with each passing year.
Claudia is a gentle, sweet soul who radiates kindness wherever she goes. She is bright, hardworking, and an exceptional student, yet remains modest and humble in all that she does.
Now 16 years old, and an 11th grader at Pascack Hills High School, Claudia lives in Montvale, NJ (born in NY!) and enjoys baking and reading in her spare time!

At just 11 years old, Claudia lost her right leg below the knee in a skiing accident. She endured multiple surgeries at Boston Children’s Hospital and a long, challenging road to recovery. Through it all, Claudia has shown remarkable strength and resilience.
Today, she continues to push forward with purpose. Claudia plans to study biomedical engineering and become a prosthetist, so she can give back and help others in the limb loss community. 🙌🙌
She was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, and continues to work towards her goals every single day!

Claudia!!!! Your courage, compassion, and quiet strength lift everyone around you. We cannot wait for you to take the stage and share your story, and your beautiful shine at SYS 2027!!!!!

It is with great honor and hearts filled with SO much excitement that we announce……
DRUMROLL please…..

Belle Svoboda will be a Keynote Speaker at SHOW YOUR SHINE 2027!!!!!!!

Belle… a name that fits her so perfectly.
Beautiful. Confident. Stronger than strong. Hilarious. Unstoppable. Unbeatable. Fast. And absolutely full of life!!!!!

In 2021, Belle was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma in her left leg. In 2023 she underwent an amputation and rotationplasty as well as rounds of chemo and radiation. Last year, she faced yet another unimaginable challenge when a tumor was found in her right forearm, requiring surgery and another round of chemotherapy.
And yet… she rises. Every single time.
This brave girl has shown more strength, determination, and GRIT than most adults ever will. She is fearless. She is driven. She is a powerful advocate for limb loss, boldly sharing her story with her schoolmates and answering every question with honesty and courage.

Belle is joy! The best sister to Ryder. The best daughter. The best friend. Truly the best of the best.
She LOVES hiking most of all, but you’ll also find her flying through aerial acrobatics, playing soccer, swimming, and embracing every chance to move and be active. Because that’s Belle; FAST, strong, and unstoppable!!!!!

BELLE!!! Beautiful Belle, we can not wait for you to have that spotlight on Feb 6th, and to hear you share your story. You are loved beyond measure by your Limb Kind family!!!!!!! 2027 is your year Belley ❤️🤩

We had the BEST time at the in CT yesterday! Such an exciting day as we launched our first over LK CT Youth Group and welcomed so many new families to the LK family!!
We can’t wait to continue to grow our community ❤️. Thank you to everyone who helped put this event together - we are so grateful for your time and energy, and outreach!
Grateful always for our incredible mentors .speaker who opened your hearts and gave so much energy and love to the kids, showing them that ANYTHING is possible!!!!!

What an incredible team we had in Kenya! 🇰🇪

From start to finish, this group worked together with one shared mission — changing the lives of children with limb loss.

Our prosthetists and technicians poured their talent and creativity into designing and fabricating prostheses that got these amazing kids up and walking. Every socket, every alignment, every adjustment was done with care and precision.

Our amputee mentors formed powerful connections with the children, showing them firsthand that limb loss does not limit what they can achieve. Through their stories and encouragement, they inspired the kids to believe they can accomplish anything they put their minds to.

And our physical and occupational therapists worked tirelessly strengthening, training, and preparing the children so they would be confident and ready to take their first steps with their new prostheses.

Different roles, one incredible team, and one unforgettable mission.

Because when people come together with passion and purpose… amazing things happen. 💙
