To my wife’s Pink Community:
La’Kesha Nicole Jackson-Gordon has transitioned as of today 4/26/2022.
When La (what we all call her) was first diagnosed in Feb 2011, her calling was to help all young women going through what she was going through, without all the red tape. She just wanted to help the best way she could through either financial assistance, spa treatments, groceries, gas cards, wig purchases, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas toys for kids, Prom Dresses, etc. I believe she made a difference in over 200+ women’s lives that are fighting this disease (don’t hold me to the number, you know who you are 🤗).
Our family would like to thank you all from the bottom of our heart for all the prayers and support over the years, which allowed her to carry out her mission—which she was passionate about.
We will work on dissolving PINK S.H.O.E.S. Inc. to a few organizations so the fight can continue.
