Benjamin Harper, CLEAR Core alum, couldn't do it alone. His community showed up. CLEAR Core showed up.

Now he's a Sewanee University of the South graduate building a career in kinesiology and sports wellness. Here's what he wants you to know.

"Paying for college was tough. CLEAR Core was a huge help to me and my family.

The scholarship kept me motivated and focused on my grades.

After graduating from Sewanee in 2023, I’m now working toward a career in kinesiology and sports wellness and exploring graduate school.

Meet CLEAR Core scholar and recent graduate, Kalvia Caldwell, whose journey shows what we're building together. Her story reminds us why this work matters.

"CLEAR Core helped me & my whole family. With two younger siblings, the scholarship took the financial pressure off. I could focus on my studies instead of worrying about money.

I graduated early from Mississippi State University debt-free last December with my degree in Elementary Education.

Now I'm teaching 5th-grade math at Central Elementary in Oxford School District, living out the dream God planted in my heart. CLEAR Core supported, prayed for, & encouraged me every step of the way."

Six weeks that shifted everything. 🥾

Last month, we wrapped an intensive sprint with The Greater Sum Foundation that pushed us to get clear on what matters most.

We strengthened our financial systems. We sharpened our strategy. We built our case for impact in ways that actually make sense when we're talking to funders, partners, and our community.

But honestly? The best part was connecting with other founders doing hard, important work. That peer community is gold. We came out of this with sharper tools and a clearer story about why CLEAR Core exists and what we're building.
