These rooms are more than just spaces — they are safe places where grieving children find comfort, connection, support, and healing.

Because of the generosity of our community, we’re able to continue providing meaningful resources, activities, and experiences for the children and families we serve at no cost to them. Every donation helps us continue growing these spaces and the impact they make.

We’d also love to give tours to anyone interested in seeing firsthand the heart behind what we do.

We had a full house on Thursday for our older group! They even got a special visit from Tucker, who always makes everyone’s day brighter! 🐾✨

We love watching this group continue to grow and seeing friendships flourish as they share their grief journeys together, support one another, and remind each other they’re never alone. 💚

Tuesday night we soaked up the sunshine with water balloon fun and read A Little SPOT of Love by Diane Alber 💗 We talked about the many ways love can still grow through grief through kindness, hugs, quality time, and caring for others. Most importantly, the children reflected on the love of friendship they’ve grown for one another during their time at Tucker’s Treehouse. 🌳☀️

On Tuesday night, our volunteer Kennedy led a discussion on anxiety using the book A Little Spot of Anxiety. Together, we talked about how anxiety can feel when connected to grief and practiced the helpful “hand” calming technique from the book. Our kids also created grief monster sticks to express the worries and feelings that anxiety can bring during grief. 💚

These spring days at Tucker’s Treehouse have been so special. So much joy has filled our walls. Each week, these incredible kids show up, share pieces of their hearts, and remind us what true strength looks like. From laughter during water balloon exercise with our older group to our littles creating their grief monsters—giving shape to the big feelings inside them. It is such a privilege to spend these moments with them each week.💚

This week at Tucker’s Treehouse, our groups talked about the song “Save You A Seat” by Alex Warren. 🤍

We shared how even though someone we love isn’t here with us anymore, we can still “save them a seat” in our hearts and in our lives.

It might look like thinking about them at the dinner table, wishing they were at our games, or remembering them during the little everyday moments.

At Tucker’s Treehouse, we remind kids that it’s okay to miss someone—and that love doesn’t go away. We can carry it with us wherever we go.🩵🌳
