As we move into the summer months, remember that self-care does not have to be complicated. It can look like stepping outside for fresh air, safely soaking up a little sunlight, staying hydrated, moving your body in a gentle way, or giving yourself permission to rest.

The warmer months can be a beautiful time to reconnect with yourself, but they can also feel busy, overwhelming, or emotionally heavy for some. Wherever you are in this season, your needs matter.

Spring into action with Laundry of Love. 🌸 Through our Laundry of Love initiative, New Beginnings provides Survivor Kits filled with new clothing and toiletries to survivors after a forensic exam helping offer dignity, comfort, and care during an incredibly vulnerable moment.

You can help by becoming a volunteer or donating new items such as:
• elastic shorts or pants
• t-shirts
• underwear
• sports bras
• flip flops or rubber sandals
• toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, soap/body wash, and lotion

You can also donate $25 to help provide one complete kit for a survivor in need.

Small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. This spring, help us bring comfort, dignity, and love to survivors in our community. 💙
