RE: WHITE FLAG WARMING CENTER
According to National Weather Service (Paducah), White Flag criteria (32°F or below air temperature or wind chill) will be met tonight through at least Monday night (January 12-15, 2024). With the bitter arctic blast moving in this weekend, it is likely White Flag will last through all of next week. We will review and send necessary White Flag extensions next Tuesday morning.
A White Flag event signals the opening of an overnight emergency shelter that will be open to all men, women, and children.
