The SPOT The SPOT is a safe place for youth ages 12-17 and young adults 18-21.

We offer positive youth development programming and a safe space to youth in Oswego County. Clubhouse aims to engage youth aged 12 - 21 to prevent and aid in substance abuse recovery. Clubhouse can provide young people with important resources from service learning to employment help, and life skills! Along with providing a safe place for youth to hangout and interact with their community and peers.

Sweater weather is officially here, and that means one more thing to check before you buckle up: removing the bulky coat before buckling the car seat. A thick coat can compress in a crash, leaving the harness too loose to do its job. Buckle and secure the harness first, then you can add the coat over the top or use it as a blanket instead. This small move can make a big difference in how well the harness can protect your rider.

Today, Governor Kathy Hochul announced that New York's Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) will open on November 2, providing financial assistance to help New Yorkers pay their heating bills amid rising utility and heating fuel costs.

OTDA Commissioner Barbara C. Guinn said, “New Yorkers who need help paying to keep their homes heated this winter season can receive vital financial support from HEAP. This benefit is particularly valuable during a time when households are facing rising energy costs. Help is available and we encourage those in need to apply as soon as possible as HEAP benefits are available for low- and middle-income households on a first-come, first-served basis.”
