Less than a week left to reserve your spot to be showcased within a showcase
A coalition of community youth sports program partners are ready to make another big splash for the children of Fulton this summer. Fulton Community Basketball, Inc. (FCB) and the City of Fulton, with their partnerships with the City of Fulton Department of Parks & Recreation, AmeriCorps, the Oswego County Youth Bureau, Oswego County Youth Works, the Richard S. Shineman Foundation and Oswego County Opportunities Nutrition Services, have announced the return of the Fulton Youth Sports Summer Showcase. This free event, which will take place during the weeks of July 7-10 and August 17-20, will stretch from Bullhead Point to Recreation Park. The landscape of this event includes use of the Fulton Dream Courts, Fulton War Memorial, the Fulton Community Center and Rink, the Teen Park, and the waterfront and fields behind both.
The inaugural youth sports summer showcase took place last July. This week-long program provided full days of free sports programs, recreation, breakfast and lunch for youth entering grades 1-9. Programming included inclusive opportunities for children to enjoy color guard, soccer, lacrosse, fishing, football, softball, baseball, dance, strength and conditioning, basketball, cheerleading and more. Over 170 students participated in this event thanks to the assistance of more than 70 volunteers.
With the coalition anticipating more than 200 children participating in the showcase this year, a great opportunity is presented to local businesses. Every child that participates in the event receives a shirt that will feature the logos of sponsors on the back. This allows businesses to be advertised while these shirts are worn in stores, restaurants, parks and schools, etc. throughout the next year.
For only $100, your business could be the beneficiary of this tremendous advertising tool. Businesses that are interested in taking advantage of this incredible opportunity are asked to email Fulton Community Basketball President Sean Broderick at [email protected] in advance to secure their spot.
Payments can be sent to Broderick through Venmo .
Checks made out to Fulton Community Basketball can be sent to:
