All of us at Imagination Library of Oswego County are overwhelmed by the tremendous support we've received since the passing of Dolly Parton.

Thank you to all who donated directly to our local program and to all the families who registered their children for a free monthly book.

We currently have 3,640 children registered, our highest number of active children since our program began in 2018! The financial support will help send books to over 320 children in our community.

Thank you for believing in Dolly's dream and for continuing her legacy right here in Oswego County, NY.

Every month, 3,500 children across Oswego County, NY, find a book in their mailbox — because of neighbors who fund it, volunteers who run it, and an incredible woman from Sevier County, TN, who started it all.

The Literacy Coalition of Oswego County signed on to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in 2018 to give our children the best start in life. Inspired by Dolly Parton’s own dad, who couldn’t read or write.

While our hearts are incredibly sad today, we’re more inspired than ever to continue this important mission. Together, we are building a brighter future for our children.

❇️ 8,782 children have participated since our inception
❇️ 4,539 children have graduated
❇️ 232,299 total books have been delivered across the County to date!

Thank you to the event organizers, Lynn Kistner, Lisa Reed and Sandy Shue, and to the all-women’s golf teams, the hole sponsors and raffle basket donors for their tremendous support.

Imagination Library of Oswego County was selected as the beneficiary for the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, which took place at Battle Island Golf Course on June 28th.
