Members of The Fulton Garden Club finished their last work day of the season at the riverside park alongside the Davis-Standard parking lot. A final weeding and planting some new varieties will make for a beautiful spring for those riding on a boat or strolling on the walkway!

Beautiful things happen when we collaborate with Fulton Block Builders and Fulton Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3063! We look forward to spring 2027 with more beautiful blooms to admire! Thank you to all the caring volunteers that help make this happen!

We would be remiss if we didn’t celebrate the winners from the Fulton Garden Club Plant swap! Diana Bukowski & Colleen Moran both won abundant seedling starter baskets!! Madonna Lake took home a lovely hydrangea wreath and Lisa Hawthorne won an adorable little girl on a swing decoration (no photo available of the last two). Thank you for attending & supporting the plant swap! See everyone again for the spring swap!

The Fulton Garden Club had a wonderful time at the Fall Festival. Garden Club members Teri, Doreen, Virginia, Nan and Carole passed out free seed starting supplies which were donated by the Oswego Walmart. We made lots of friends and added a few new Garden Club members! We'll see you at the next event!

Over 100 gardeners and garden lovers attended the autumn Plant Swap hosted by The Fulton Garden Club. Held at Bullhead Point on Lake Neatahwanta, the event was supported by the Sunrise Rotary Club of Fulton, which provided seed starter packets with supplies donated by Walmart of Oswego; Atlantic States Legal Foundation, which gave away tree samplings and shrubs; Dan Carroll, local horticulturalist and garden designer, who offered suggestions on adding pollinators to our gardens; and the 114 Reserve coffee shop kept us all happy with hot coffee and tea. Visitors also took chances at raffles, with winners and pics to be shared soon.

We loved that many of our guests stayed for the entire Swap, chatting and sharing gardening tips and general knowledge. We look forward to seeing you at the next Plant Swap this spring. Until then, keep dreaming of plants and all the possibility they hold to beautify our homes and our community! 🌱

Who’s ready for the fall plant swap?! The weather is forecasted to cooperate Saturday morning and the FGC volunteers are ready for a fun day!

The Fulton Garden Club has developed strong partnerships, including the Sunrise Rotary Club of Fulton. Last spring, Rotary members gave away vegetable seedlings to encourage home gardening over the summer. Now, at our Fall Plant Swap, Saturday, September 19, the Rotary Club will be back to hand out "Spring Seed Starter Packages" for community members to save until next March. Included in each package will be vegetable seeds packs, seed starting soil, and biodegradable planting cups: everything you need to prepare for our next growing season! This partnership is possible thanks to the generous donation of gardening supplies from Walmart of Oswego. Shown in photos are members of Sunrise Rotary of Fulton preparing the packages.

PS: the plant swap is 18 days away! 9/19 at Bullhead Point 10a-12p
