Oswego County SPCA - OCAWL The Oswego County SPCA (OCAWL) is a non-profit, all volunteer team dedicated to providing shelter and critical veterinary care to animals in crisis.

The organization and volunteers are committed to improving animal welfare in our community. The Oswego County SPCA (Oswego County Animal Welfare League) is an all volunteer, not for profit (501C3), no-kill organization, that does not have a shelter and works directly through foster homes. We pride ourselves on helping the Oswego County communities, as well as other areas, and the animals who live in them.

Today our girl Brie found her FUREVER home! Just about a month ago we were contacted about an injured kitty who needed off the street asap. She had injuries including her eye, BB's/Pellets embedded in her skin and was in tough shape. We worked to move kitties around in foster homes and made a spot for this sweet girl. Thankfully Fruit Valley Veterinary Clinic was able to see her the day she came in so we could assess what she needed in terms of medical care. Through some amazing vet care, hard work and lots of love from her foster family we were able to save Brie's eye and get her back on all four paws.

Today she found the home she truly deserves where she will be queen of the castle.

Some of you may remember this girl as she was on a lot of lost pet sites (see pics). She has come a long way!

Meet Brie, a sweet almost 2yr old kitty who was found dumped as a stray and injured. When Brie came into foster, she was in rough shape with an infected eye, and the vet believes she was shot with a BB or Pellet gun as she had those lodged in her skin. Through great care by our vets and foster family she has blossomed and healed. (See photos posted from when someone found her and went to social media)

Brie LOVES human attention and interaction. If she cannot see you she will call for you. She is learning to socialize with other cats and would be fine with a laid-back dog with a SLOW intro!
Brie is up to date on vaccinations, is feline leukemia and FIV negative, and is spayed.

🐾 A HUGE THANK YOU TO MACE & OSWEGO WALMART! 💙

We want to send a very special THANK YOU to Mace and the team at Oswego Walmart for continuing to think of and support the Oswego County SPCA! 🐶🐱

We are incredibly grateful for the various donations we’ve received. Sometimes it’s the things behind the scenes that make such a BIG difference — and our staff was especially excited to see a brand-new vacuum cleaner! 🎉 When you have a building full of furry friends, you can imagine how much that is needed and appreciated! 😂🐾

We were also thrilled to receive items that we can put to good use as decorations and props for our upcoming Trivia Night, along with other helpful supplies.

And, of course, we are ALWAYS thankful for the pet food donations that help us care for the animals who depend on us every single day. ❤️

Mace, thank you for continuing to keep our organization and our animals in mind. Community partnerships and generosity like this help us stretch our resources further and continue doing what matters most — helping animals in need throughout Oswego County.
