Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, we're Chapter 252 (the "Steve Wittman" Chapter) of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

Our RV-12iS teen build project spent AirVenture on display in the Blue Barn. It’s back in our hangar now and we’re back at work.

Thank you to everyone who attended our chapter gathering back on Thursday, July 9! We had great weather and great turnout at the chapter hangar in Oshkosh.

Mike Dooley from EAA Chapter 91 in Missouri - and a member of Chapter 252 - gave a presentation on getting started with sheet metal when building an aircraft. We thank him for the informative presentation, especially since there are many aircraft builders and would-be builders in our chapter!

Thanks also to chapter member Kirby Scott for taking the annual chapter photo, to the members of EAA Chapter 91 who grilled the hamburgers and brats for dinner, and to everyone else who brought food or donations!

Thank you to everyone who attended our chapter gathering on Thursday, June 11! Despite the rainy weather, we had strong turnout for the presentation by EAA staff videographer Alden Frautschy. Alden talked about the video and photo work he does for EAA, with a focus on AirVenture. He brought some of the cameras and the drone he uses for his work at AirVenture and other EAA events.

Thank you to Alden for the great presentation, and thanks to the chapter members who cooked and/or brought food for dinner or donated to help cover the meal!

Congratulations to Chapter 252 Ray Scholar 2023 Alayna M. on earning her commercial pilot certificate at UND. Alayna is wrapping up her sophomore year at UND and will spend part of her summer as an Air Academy Camp Counselor.
