Get your gear ready for the K/D week!!

Just six weeks til opening weekend of the K/D Salmon Tournament! A few Chinooks were caught incidental to brown trout this spring in the shallows, and charters on scouting runs have tackled a few at dawn in recent days. Things should really pop as we move into June.

Exciting news from Algoma today! 17,200 nice healthy brown trout were planted in the Ahnapee river. The baby browns were spawn gathered in Kewaunee, fertilized in Wild Rose then Reared in the Brule river pond site. Producing 1-1/2 year old 5-6” stockings.
