Final Day of Shrek the Musical Auditions! Come by the Oshkosh Rec Gym from 1-4pm today to “let your freak flag fly” and join our summer cast.

Yesterday we welcomed over 50 participants with returning JJ friends from previous years and many new faces as well. This is sure to be a fabulous summer season!

If you cannot make it to in-person auditions for Shrek the Musical, please email a video of yourself with an introduction, 1 min song, and 1 min monologue to [email protected] by 3:00 on Sunday, April 12.

Note: Online Registration with the Osh Rec Dept was a little glitchy this weekend- if you were not able to register, please let us know via email or fill out a paper registration when you come to auditions.

We “know it’s today”! Shrek the Musical Auditions begin today at the Oshkosh Rec Gym (425 Division St, Oshkosh, WI). Come by anytime from 1-4pm to dazzle us and join in a summer of fun 🤩

**Remember to wear clothes and shoes you can move in as we will have a brief dance audition in addition to your song/monologue.

Shrek the Musical auditions are two weeks away- DON’T PANIC. You CAN do this 😀
Remember that we are asking that you come to auditions with 3 things:
1. Your calendar (Let us know right away how many rehearsals you will not be able to attend)
2. 1 minute song (does not need to start at the beginning of the song; choose a song or part of a song that shows us your vocal range)
3. 1 minute monologue (a short story, poem, or single character speech from a play, musical, or movie; we use it to gauge your acting experience, imagination, & vocal projection)
