Yesterday 5 members of our staff attended the 2026 New North Summit in Green Bay. The New North Summit is always a great annual event, bringing together the business, education and community leaders from around the region and state to connect with network contacts, share economic development updates and more.

Oshkosh Chamber is proud to be a big part of the New North region and we are proud to be "on the rise". Oshkosh was recognized by Sam Rickers (Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation) for our efforts and successes through our Young Professionals Program. Propel has grown to over 100 members in just over a year and is gearing up for it's first Young Professionals Week including volunteer opportunities, a professional development panel, cross market networking, and a golf outing. Everyone is welcome to join in any of the events! More information can be found on our website.

Introducing Oshkosh Chamber's Member in the spotlight this month: Oshkosh Tent & Awning!

OTA was founded in 1876 and was named H.C. Johnson Company. The company was located on Main Street. Products included horse blankets, wagon covers, awnings, tents, and sails. Subsequent ownership moved the business and changed the name to Oshkosh Tent and Awning in 1914. Oshkosh Tent and Awning is in its fourth generation of family ownership. Over the years new products have been added such as athletic padding, shade sails, boat covers, barn curtains, banners, signs, and graphics. Although The OTA Company no longer has tents, we have expanded our services into contract and military sewing. Whether you bring in a small job for repairs, like replacing a zipper, or you need a new awning for your home or business, we have got you covered!
