Wings Over Wisconsin - Denmark Chapter

Last Friday we had the opportunity to take the Denmark 6th graders fishing. The 124 kids in the class rotated thru 5 different educational sessions.
(1)Fish cleaning demonstration,
(2)Fly Fishing,
(3)Boat safety with the WDNR,
(4)Aquatics with Fox/Wolf water shed Alliance
(5)Tips from a Pro-Deaths Door Charters

Then half the group went to Rod n reel safety, where they learned how to cast a fishing pole, and the other half went to lunch. They then flip-flopped and they got to go fishing for a couple hours. . At the end of the day, they all got to go home with a fishing pole combo with a mini tacklebox to get them started. Thank you to all the sponsors and donors that made this happen.

The 6th graders of Mishicot & Wayside Zion Lutheran schools came out for an all day fishing field trip last week. They learned about Boat safety with WDNR. Learned how to clean a fish. Learned about aquatics with the Fox wolf watershed alliance. Also got to see & ask about fly fishing. We deep fried some fish, grilled some burgers & taught them some rod n reel safety. All this before going fishing for a couple of hours.

They got to self tour through the Touch of the Wild, wildlife trailer. It was a great day! Thank you to all our sponsors & donors.

There is no need to register and if you don't have fishing poles, they're will be some on site you can use. The bait is also provided.

Congratulations to Wings Over Wisconsin Scotch Doubles Bowling Tournament winners today at Bushville Lanes! 🎳
