UNSHAKEN. ⚓️

Storms don’t always come with wind and rain. Sometimes they look like an unexpected phone call, financial pressure, family struggles, or an uncertain future.

Pastor Rodney Gage reminded us from Acts 27: the storm can shake the ship without shaking your faith.

⚓️ Know whose you are.
⚓️ Hold on to what God said.
⚓️ Let go of what cannot save you.
⚓️ Be the steady person in the room.

You don’t have to control the storm to bring calm into the room.

GOD, STEADY ME IN THE STORM. 🙏

The world around us may feel unsettled, but our lives don’t have to be.

Share this with someone who needs courage today.

Encouragement that stays in your head will never reach the other person’s heart. We can think the world of our spouse, our kids, and the people we work with, and never actually say it.

“Encourage one another and build each other up.” 1
Thessalonians 5:11

LIFT UP.

Culture tells us to protect our time, promote ourselves and keep asking, “What can this relationship do for me?” Jesus shows us another way: notice people, serve people, honor people and help carry what feels too heavy for them.

The people closest to us should not leave our presence feeling heavier. They should be stronger because we loved them well.

CARE DEEPLY—even when you cannot fix it.
SERVE SACRIFICIALLY—even when it costs you.
HONOR OPENLY—because encouragement that stays in your head never reaches their heart.

As we wrap up “Stacking Wins”, choose one person. Ask, “How can I support you right now?” Show up. Take something off their plate. Speak the words you have been thinking but have never said.

Don’t just look for people who make your life better. Become the kind of person who makes the people around you better.

Who is stronger because you are in their life?

SHOW UP. LISTEN UP. LET GO. LIFT UP.
That is how we STACK WINS—one selfless choice at a time.

My son Luke looked at my phone and said, “Dad, you have over 48,000 photos on here.”

Blurry pictures. Old screenshots. Duplicate photos. Things I haven’t looked at in years.

And the truth is… we do the same thing emotionally….We save the negative comment. We save the criticism. We save the rejection. We save the hurt.
We save the apology we never received.

And everything we save takes up space.

The question is: What are you holding onto that you no longer need to carry?

You may not be able to delete what happened from your memory, but you can stop allowing it to take up space in your heart.

Clear some storage.

This past Sunday at the beach, we had the honor of celebrating those who took their next step of faith through baptism.

There is something so powerful about witnessing each person publicly declare their faith in Jesus!

Every baptism tells a story of God’s grace and a life made new. These photos capture moments we’ll never forget.

To those who were baptized: We’re so proud of you. Your church family is celebrating with you, praying for you and believing this is only the beginning of everything God wants to do in and through your life.

LET GO. 🕊️

Don’t keep replaying what God is asking you to release.

LET GO OF THE NEED TO WIN.
LET GO OF THE OFFENSE.
LET GO OF WHAT YOU CAN’T CONTROL.

This week’s challenge is simple: Clear some storage.

Identify one hurt, offense or disappointment you need to release. Forgive where forgiveness is needed, and place what you cannot change into God’s hands.

What is God asking you to release this week?

One of the greatest gifts we can give someone is our attention. So let’s listen up! We loved Pastor Rodney Gage message to us!

CHECK YOUR HEART before you open your mouth.
CHOOSE HUMILITY over being right.
LOOK BEYOND your own perspective.
BRING THE MINDSET OF JESUS into the conversation.

This week’s challenge is simple: Listen to understand—not just to respond.

Put the phone down. Make eye contact. Resist the urge to interrupt. Ask one more clarifying question. Give someone the dignity of your full attention.

Who needs you to truly listen to them this week?
