Como parte constitutiva de esta alianza, que reúne a representantes de 22 países, reconocemos en AEL una extensión fundamental de nuestra misión y de nuestro compromiso con la Iglesia evangélica a nivel internacional.

Esta semana estamos juntos en Costa Rica, participando en importantes sesiones de trabajo, fortaleciendo nuestras relaciones institucionales y avanzando en una visión compartida para la Iglesia evangélica latinoamericana.

Celebramos el liderazgo de AEL y el privilegio de caminar juntos en esta misión.

🧡 Latino Evangelicals are part of God’s mission in the healing of the nations.

As we enter to celebrate the last week of Hispanic Heritage Month and NaLEC’s 15 years of national impact, we are reminded that our heritage is not only found in the stories we tell, but also in the lives we touch and the communities we serve.

Through our partnership with World Vision USA , The Gathering and the transformative , we have witnessed what happens when the Church responds to God’s call with compassion, generosity, and faithful action.

Together, across our network, we have helped connect more than 500 children with sponsors for El Salvador🙌🏽 and that number continues to grow!

Hundreds of opportunities to build relationships, restore dignity, and invest in the long-term flourishing of children, their families, and communities.

In our visit to El Salvador, we witnessed firsthand the beauty of this mission. Through Chosen, the traditional sponsorship model is transformed: instead of sponsors choosing a child, children are empowered to choose their sponsors. A simple yet profound expression of dignity, love, and hope. For us this was such more than sponsorship, It is building a legacy for future generations, It is the Gospel in motion.

As this Hispanic Heritage season ends we will continue to affirm: Our faith carries a legacy, our "Yes" carries hope, and our calling extends far beyond ourselves.

NaLEC Stands in Prayer with our familia of Panamá 🙏🏻

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Panama following reports of a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake.

During moments of uncertainty and crisis, we stand in solidarity with the families, churches, and communities impacted by this disaster. We pray for God’s protection, comfort, and strength over those affected, as well as wisdom and guidance for first responders and local leaders.

As a community of faith, we believe that compassion must move us beyond words and into action.

Together we can STAND AND PROTECT OUR NEIGHBORS.

Behind every immigration policy are real people. Families. Children. Neighbors. Members of our churches and communities. Today, many Haitian families in Central Florida are facing uncertainty, fear, and the possibility of separation due to changes affecting Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

As followers of Jesus, we are reminded that loving our neighbors is more than a conviction we profess. It is a calling we are invited to live out.

Through the Protect Our Neighbors campaign NaLEC is joining forces with Central Florida Micah Movement and UNDIVIDED to invite all Florida churches, pastors, leaders, and people of faith to stand together in compassion, prayer, and faithful witness.

Here are three ways to participate and support:

OCT. 11 | SIGN THE LETTER
Join us on signing our letter, let Florida Senators Ashley Moody and Rick Scott know your support to S. 4814. We are almost 200 signatures and we are growing.

OCT. 14 | MAKE THE CALL
Contact our senators and encourage their support for urgent relief for Haitian families.

OCT. 18 | SHOW UP
Join us at 3PM outside Orlando City Hall for a faithful witness time through prayer, worship, and community.

Our faith calls us to see the dignity of every person, to love beyond our differences, and to remember that our neighbors should never have to stand alone.

Because loving our neighbors requires more than words. ❤️

As part of our Hispanic Heritage Month commemoration and NaLEC’s 15th Anniversary of National Impact, our President Rev. Dr. Gabriel Salguero joined Christian leaders in Birmingham for the 20th Anniversary of Christian Churches Together, reflecting on the historic and growing contributions of Latino evangelicals and Pentecostals to the Church and our public witness.

In a city deeply connected to the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement, we also reflected on the enduring significance of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” and what its call to courageous, prophetic Christian witness means for Latino evangelicals today.

For 15 years, NaLEC has worked to ensure that Latino evangelical voices are not simply represented in the national conversation, but are helping shape it, bringing the theological, spiritual, civic, and community contributions of our churches to the broader Christian movement in USA.

This gathering also included Ambassador Andrew Young, Dr. Beth-Sarah Wright, Archbishop Vicken Aykazian, Bishop Joseph Bambera, and other Christian leaders from across traditions.

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor not only where we have come from, but what Latino Christians continue to contribute to the Church, our nation, and the global Christian movement.

Building a Legacy is never done alone🙌🏻

As we look back on The SENT Summit 2026, we are deeply grateful for every partner and sponsor who believed in the vision and helped make this gathering possible.

Your partnership was more than a logo on a screen or a table in the room. You helped create a space where pastors and leaders could gather, worship, learn, build relationships, be strengthened, and return to their communities better equipped for the work God has called them to do.

At NaLEC, we believe meaningful Kingdom impact happens through relationship and collaboration. This Summit was another beautiful reminder of what becomes possible when churches, ministries, organizations, and partners come together around a shared commitment to serve the Church and our communities.

We ended the evening the way we began: TOGETHER...in worship, gratitude, and celebration. 🙌🏽

We celebrated our AVANCE students and honored those reaching important milestones through our educational partnership with Southeastern University - SEU / Carrión Leadership Center from certificates to master’s and doctoral degrees.

Every name called represented more than an academic achievement. It represented months and years of formation, sacrifice, perseverance, and a commitment to be better equipped to serve the Church and our communities.

What a joy to worship together and celebrate a new generation of pastors, scholars, and leaders who are being formed for such a time as this.

To every speaker who entrusted us with your wisdom, experience, and heart...THANK YOU.

To every pastor and leader who made the journey to be with us, every church and ministry represented, every sponsor and partner who continues to believe in this work, and every volunteer and staff member who served behind the scenes thank you for being part of this moment.

The Sent Summit may have ended, but the calling did not. We return to our churches, to our communities, to our cities and to our daily routine but EMPOWERED TO SERVE!

And now, we go...This is only the beginning of a new season in our lives.

As part of our continued celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the National Latino Evangelical Coalition - NALEC invites you to watch a powerful new segment of the PBS and Journey Films documentary “Christianity at a Crossroads”, featuring the growing influence of Latino Pentecostalism and the transformative work of Latino and Latino-led multiethnic evangelical churches.

The full documentary explores the changing landscape and future of Christianity in America. It features a segment on The Gathering as an example of a larger Latino evangelical movement helping revitalize American Christianity.

After a moment to eat, connect, and build community, the conversations continued...🙌🏻🔥

We dive in under the topic of "FORMING THE FUTURE: The Latino Evangelical Moment and the Power of Education", Rev. Dr. Daniel Montañez, Dr. Jessica Lugo, and Rev. Dr. Oscar Merlo invited us to look ahead, to invest in formation, education, and the leaders who will carry the Church into its next chapter.

AT THE CROSSROADS: The Future of U.S. Evangelicalism gave us a profound and historic moment with Dr. Justo González, reminding us that understanding where we are also requires remembering where we have been as we discern our way forward. For God so loved the world first(not the church)...challenging us to dig deeper and understand the real message behind His words in John 3:16.

And in conclusion...."FAITHFUL UNDER PRESSURE: Leading in the Real World", Rev. Dr. Michael Carrion, Rev. Enid Almanzar, and Bishop Benjamin Feliz brought the real talk, the raw conversation home: What does it mean to lead faithfully when ministry gets complicated, pressure is real, and our witness matters?

These were more than sessions or plenaries. They became conversations, challenges, prayers, and invitations to discern together what faithful Christian witness can look like today.

Hay legados que no solo se celebran; se reciben con gratitud y se continúan.

Este fin de semana, en The SENT Summit, tuvimos el profundo privilegio de recibir al Rev. Dr. Justo González como uno de nuestros oradores principales y pudimos tambien honrar su vida, la cual ha sido dedicada a la Iglesia, a la formación teológica y al fortalecimiento de generaciones de líderes.

Su voz y legado han ayudado a abrir caminos para que la historia, la teología y la experiencia de la Iglesia latina ocupen el lugar que les corresponde dentro de la conversación cristiana.

Dr. González, gracias por sembrar antes que muchos de nosotros llegáramos. Gracias por enseñarnos, abrir caminos y recordarnos que nuestra historia también forma parte de la historia de la Iglesia.

Para NaLEC, celebrar 15 años de impacto nacional también significa reconocer a quienes prepararon el terreno sobre el cual hoy seguimos construyendo, y usted sin duda alguna ha preparado el terreno profundamente.

Fue un honor tenerle con nosotros y poder decir, en persona: gracias por su legado. Gracias por celebrar junto a nosotros estos 15 años de Impacto Nacional en el mes de la Herencia Hispana.
