Rotary family, we ask you to hold our fellow Rotarians, the Borgwing family, close in your hearts during this time of unimaginable loss. The passing of their daughter is a sorrow no parent should ever have to bear. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, surrounding them with love, comfort, and strength as they walk through this season of grief.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Karina, who departed this life on September 7, 2025, following a brave and unwavering battle with cancer. Her strength, grace, and spirit will remain an enduring inspiration to all who knew her. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in heaven, free from pain and suffering, and reunited with her best friend Alexis. We know they are angels watching over us.
At this time, our family kindly asks for privacy as we navigate this profound grief. We know that many of you want to show your love and support, and we are truly grateful.
