Rest, Fellowship, and the Road Ahead!

After a long and productive workday on Saturday, our Fuller Center Bike Adventure riders enjoyed a well-deserved day of rest and fellowship on Sunday before continuing their journey to Price.

The cyclists joined friends from Provo Community Congregational United Church of Christ (PCCUCC) for worship, good food, and warm conversation. It was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, reflect on the weekend's service project, and enjoy the friendships that have been formed along the way.

We are grateful to PCCUCC for their hospitality and to our riders for sharing their time, talents, and hearts with our community. Their journey is about much more than miles traveled—it's about serving others, building relationships, and making a difference wherever the road leads.

Safe travels to our Bike Adventure team as they continue their ride through Utah and onward toward Arizona. Thank you for allowing Utah County to be part of your journey!

Cycling for a Cause, Changing Lives in Provo 🔨☀️🚴

On Saturday, sixteen Fuller Center Bike Adventure cyclists from across the country joined local volunteers, homeowners, and community partners in Provo for a day of hard work, service, and fun.

At Crestline Estates, crews worked from sunup until late afternoon repairing skirting, rebuilding porches and stairs, cleaning up yards, and tackling a long list of projects. We may not have crossed every item off the list, but we made a huge dent and accomplished far more than we could have without so many helping hands.

Of course, it wasn't all work! The day was filled with laughter, new friendships, teamwork, and plenty of stories shared along the way. A delicious lunch gave everyone a chance to take a break, recharge, and enjoy the fellowship that makes events like this so special.

A heartfelt thank you to our Bike Adventure riders, volunteers, homeowners, Crestline Estates, and especially Dee and her amazing crew from Mobile Home Repairs for sharing their expertise and helping lead the work. Thank you also to our lunch sponsors and everyone who helped make the day a success. Together, we showed what can happen when people come together to serve their neighbors and strengthen their community.

❤️ An Evening of Celebration, Connection, and Gratitude ❤️

This past Friday, we were honored to welcome the Fuller Center Bike Adventure riders, our partner families, volunteers, supporters, and committee members to the Provo Seventh-day Adventist Church for a special evening of fellowship and celebration.

The night was filled with laughter, gratitude, and inspiring stories as past family recipients shared how critical home repairs and housing assistance have impacted their lives. Their stories were a powerful reminder of why this work matters and the difference that a caring community can make.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so meaningful. We are grateful for the friendships, shared purpose, and spirit of unity that filled the room. Together, we are repairing homes, strengthening families, and creating brighter futures throughout Utah County.

Welcome to Provo, Fuller Center Bike Adventure Cyclists!

Today we were excited to welcome 16 cyclists with the Fuller Center for Housing Bike Adventure as they arrive in Provo on their journey from Salt Lake City to Flagstaff.

These dedicated riders are cycling hundreds of miles to support affordable housing and home repair efforts across the country. While in Utah County, they'll also join local volunteers to help repair homes for families in our community.

If you see them around town, give them a wave and a warm Utah County welcome! We're grateful for their service and wish them safe travels on the road ahead.

This Memorial Day, the Fuller Center for Housing of Utah County remembers and honors the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Today we pause to reflect on the cost of freedom, the sacrifice carried by loved ones, and the lasting impact of those who never returned home. May we remember them with gratitude, honor their legacy through acts of service and kindness, and continue building communities worthy of their sacrifice.

Ann Coleman didn’t become a serious cyclist until her late 50s. Since then, she’s ridden across the country, become deeply involved with the Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure and helped launch The Fuller Center For Housing of Utah County.

In a recent podcast interview, Ann shares how cycling became a path to service, community and purpose — and how that journey continues today at age 70.
