Come hear a timeless work....The Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach. Timpanogos Chamber Music Series presents this concert in the American Fork Library (64 South 100 East). Saturday, March 22 at 7 pm.

One of the most captivating and revered masterpieces in classical music, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations was composed in 1741. Originally composed for the harpsichord, this work has become a cornerstone of the piano repertoire, admired for its profound depth, intricate brilliance, and technical mastery. In this special performance, Dr. Yuhuan Xu and Dr. Carmen Hall will present a stunning interpretation of the variations as a piano duet, offering a fresh and dynamic perspective on Bach’s timeless masterpiece.

✨ About Kristi:

Principal Harpist with The Chamber Orchestra of New York, with five albums recorded on the prestigious Naxos label.
Member of two innovative ensembles: the Hat Trick Trio (flute, viola, harp) and the harp duo Duo Scorpio.
Guest artist with renowned orchestras, including The Baltimore Symphony, The Miami Symphony, The Albany Symphony, and more.
Former Principal Harpist for the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, where she toured North America and Mexico, recorded for Sony Classical, and performed live during the Mexican Bicentennial Celebration.
🌍 Based in New York City, Kristi’s versatility as a harpist spans genres from classical and jazz to pop and Broadway. Starting her harp journey at just two years old, she has become one of today’s leading emerging harpists.

🎶 Meet April Clayton – A World-Class Flutist! 🎶

We’re thrilled to feature April Clayton in our Monday concert! 🌟 Known for her breathtaking artistry, April is the flutist with Aspen Winds, a leading woodwind quintet in the Intermountain West, and Hat Trick, a New York-based flute, viola, and harp trio.

✨ Highlights of Her Career:

Former flutist with the Orpheus Wind Quintet for 22 years.
Guest performer with the prestigious New York Woodwind Quintet.
Principal Flute and concerto soloist with the New York Lyric Orchestra.
Performed with Utah Chamber Artists, Utah Metropolitan Ballet, Jupiter Symphony, and more.
🌍 As a highly sought-after soloist, recording artist, and chamber musician, April has performed across the globe. Locally, she has held numerous teaching and leadership roles, including Professor of Flute at BYU, Director of Flute Studies at UVU and Snow College, and Artistic Director at the Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City.
