There is NO meeting this week!

May is SFhRS Rose Auction Month. The Rose Auction is on May 17th, at Baldo's Acres. Gates are open from 11am and the auction will begin at 2pm. Tour the garden and sample enchiladas and other tasty treats prepared by members. Most of the roses that are available for auction and growing in ground at Baldo's acres will be identified so you can see how the plant grows. (so cool).

Our auction will feature 64 varieties of roses (2 each). Included are HTs, Floribundas, Shrubs, Miniatures, Polyanthas, Heritage Roses, and a couple of climbers. Most are not available commercially. I am working on the catalog and I am in rose heaven. Hopefully the catalog will be done several days before the auction.

As mentioned at the May meeting, Member Baldo V. is having a fundraiser for the Sierra Foothills Rose Society on 5/17. This is a great opportunity to tour his garden and support our fellow Club!
