What does it take to help children and families thrive? At this morning’s Rotary Club of Orangevale meeting, Jodi from AspireKids shared how their organization is making a difference by providing access to essential items such as food, clothing, school supplies, and other basic necessities. Their mission is centered on ensuring kids have the resources and support they need to succeed, and it was inspiring to learn more about the positive impact they are making throughout our community.

We were also pleased to welcome guests from the Rotary Club of Folsom, who stopped by to share their Frey Ranch Single Barrel Bourbon fundraiser. In true Rotary fashion, our members stepped up and purchased the final bottles needed to help them reach their fundraising goal.

Whether supporting children in need or helping fellow Rotarians succeed in their service projects, today’s meeting was a wonderful reminder of the power of community, collaboration, and service above self.

Last night, the Rotary Club of Orangevale was honored to receive the Most Valued Partner Award for the 2025–2026 school year alongside so many incredible organizations making a difference in our community.

We are truly grateful for this recognition and proud to partner with schools, students, staff, and fellow community groups to help support and strengthen our local youth.

It was such a wonderful evening, and we sincerely appreciate the thoughtful event that was put together to bring everyone together, celebrate community partnerships, and show appreciation for the work being done throughout the year.

Thank you for this honor — we look forward to continuing to serve and support our community together! 💙💛

Under the expert guidance of Janet Cahill, our outstanding project leader, we effectively enhanced the OV Community Center by planting trees, spreading bark, and pruning, culminating in a successful 2026 Big Day of Service event that was both fulfilling and enjoyable.

Another BIG day of service and impact in our community! 💙💚🧡

The Rotary Club of Orangevale was proud to partner with the Teen Council of Orangevale and Fair Oaks to officially launch the NEW Carnegie Middle School Supply Closet! 🎉

Thanks to funding provided in part through a Rotary Greater Sacramento Area District 5180 grant, hundreds of students will now have access to everyday essentials right on campus — including hygiene products, school supplies, snacks, clothing basics, and toiletries.

Today, Teen Council members and Rotarians worked side-by-side sorting supplies, stocking shelves, organizing materials, and creating a welcoming space designed to support students in a meaningful way. It was inspiring to see youth leaders and community volunteers come together to make a real difference for local students.

Every child deserves to feel prepared, supported, and confident at school, and this project helps ensure students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

A huge thank you to the Orangevale & Fair Oaks Teen Council for their leadership and partnership, and to Rotary District 5180 for helping make this project possible through grant funding.

Together, we are creating positive change right here in our community. 💙
