What a treat to host the Opelika Rotary for their recent meeting! They enjoyed lunch in our multipurpose room, were taken on a tour of the clinic, and learned more about Mercy Medical Ministry and the patients we serve.

✨Volunteer Spotlight✨

We are excited to honor Robert Hall as our Volunteer of the Month for May! Robert has been serving as a Spiritual Encourager since the summer of 2025. His favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful."

Some friendships are lifelong—and for Will and Beau, that friendship has also been a shared calling.

From meeting in kindergarten to serving together at Mercy Medical Ministry as Medical Assistants, their journey has been one of growth, encouragement, and purpose. During their time at Mercy Medical, they gained hands-on experience in medicine while learning what it means to care for both the physical and spiritual needs of patients. Most importantly, they learned to reflect the love of Christ through medicine.

As they prepare to head to medical school, we are grateful for the compassion, joy, and dedication these two have brought to Mercy Medical Ministry. We will miss them and we look forward to seeing the ways God continues to work through them as future physicians.

Continue to sharpen each other “as iron sharpens iron…” (Proverbs 27:17) 💙

This Memorial Day, we pause in gratitude and remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives in service to your country. We honor their sacrifice and hold in prayer the families who carry their memory every day.

We are deeply grateful for the freedoms we have and mindful of the cost at which they were given. May we live with compassion, serve with humility, and never take these freedoms for granted.

We are so thankful for The Caring Foundation and their support!

Through the work of Mercy Medical Ministry & Clinic, patients have gained independence while pursuing better health outcomes and quality of life. Thanks to a Caring Foundation grant, the clinic has distributed 120 blood pressure monitors to patients with hypertension, allowing patients to track blood pressure on their own and take charge of their health.

As part of Opelika Character Week, The Envision Opelika Foundation recently stopped by to display “KIND” at Mercy Medical - one of the twelve character words they’ve selected to promote good character across the community.

Please join us for our upcoming Ribbon Cutting to celebrate our new building on Thursday, February 26 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. The Opelika Chamber of Commerce will help host this special event as we give thanks for God's provision and the opportunity to serve our community in a new space. Lunch will be served, generously provided by . We hope you'll come celebrate with us and tour the building to see firsthand how this new building will help expand compassionate care for those we serve.
