We’re excited to see our new Main Street Alabama Designated District signs going up around Downtown Opelika!

These signs are a wonderful reminder that Downtown Opelika is one of just 36 designated communities in Alabama, recognized for our commitment to historic preservation, economic vitality, and creating a vibrant, welcoming downtown.

A huge thank you to City of Opelika, Al - City Government Public Works for installing the signs and helping us showcase our Main Street designation throughout the community. And thank you to Main Street Alabama for providing these beautiful signs to designated districts across the state!
