🐾 WORLD, MEET JONI! ❤️

2nd Mission Alliance is excited to introduce Joni, our newest foster through CARE Humane Society!

Joni hasn't wasted any time stealing hearts! ❤️

This sweet girl loves car rides, meeting new people, and getting out in the community. She's gentle, friendly, and seems to believe everyone she meets is a potential new best friend!

While Joni is with us, we'll be working on basic obedience and continuing her socialization.

Although, if we're being honest, she might already have the socialization part figured out! 😂🐾

🏡 Joni is looking for her forever home!

THREE ORGANIZATIONS. ONE MISSION. ONE SPECIAL DOG. 🐾

Sometimes the greatest things happen when people and organizations come together for one purpose.

Meet Patrick Lynn.

Patrick serves his community through East Alabama Canine Search And Recovery. His previous K9 partner Natty was a nationally certified cadaver detection dog. Sadly, Patrick lost that partner, leaving behind some pretty big paws to fill.

Patrick also needed a service dog of his own.

That's where three organizations came together.

2nd Mission Alliance , 2nd Mission K9, Heroes' Haven Service Dogs, Leica's "Saving GSDs' & Malinois' Paws" Rescue partnered to help bring Patrick and Star together.

Star is already a service dog and has begun training in search and rescue. Now, she has an opportunity to serve alongside someone who understands firsthand just how special that partnership can be.

This is what happens when organizations work together instead of worrying about who gets the credit.

A dog gets a purpose. A man gets a partner. And a community benefits from both.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

Due to the storms over this past weekend, Alabama Power is assisting disaster relief efforts in the state. We will be postponing the construction until further notice. We will post the new dates for the public when are notified. Praying for the families and community members affected. Thank you Alabama Power for all you do!

WE NEED A FEW VOLUNTEERS! 🇺🇸🐾

2nd Mission Alliance is getting the word out about the Major Alex Klinner Leadership & Training Center, and we could use some boots on the ground this weekend!

We’re looking for volunteers willing to help us hand out flyers and talk with people about the mission at:
🌮 Food Truck Friday — Opelika
📅 Friday
🏈 Auburn vs. Florida — Tailgates
📅Saturday

Nothing complicated. Grab some flyers, meet some people, and help us share what is being built right here in our community.

The Major Alex Klinner Leadership & Training Center will be a place where Veterans, First Responders, working dogs, horses, volunteers, and members of our community can continue to serve and find purpose.

Our Opening Ceremony is October 13 at 8:00 AM at Selah in Opelika, AL and we want our community to know what’s coming.
If you can give us an hour, a couple of hours, or whatever time you have, we'd appreciate the help.

🚜 Help Equip the Mission at Selah

We're looking for 20 people willing to partner with us at $25 per month to help equip the mission.

For the past year, we've relied on borrowed equipment, generous volunteers, and a lot of hard work.

As 2nd Mission Alliance continues to grow, we've reached a point where having a tractor is no longer a convenience—it's a necessity.

A tractor would allow us to safely unload hay, maintain trails and pastures, improve roads, and better support our K9 and Equine programs.

This isn't about buying a tractor. It's about providing the tools needed to serve veterans, first responders, their families, and the animals entrusted to our care.
