YOU can become a member of Troop 15!
We are a Scouting America troop that meets three times a month on Monday 6:30 -8:00 PM Central time. We don’t meet on Monday’s after a scheduled camp out.
We are a full uniform troop that is Scout led and adult guided. Our outdoor program is challenging. These activities include canoeing, hiking , camping, backpacking and we pride ourselves in our annual Mountain Man Rendezvous.
Our Scouts and Adult Leaders live by the Boy Scout Oath, Law and Outdoor Code.
We are in our 20th year delivering the promised the Scouting program has to offer. 48 of our scouts have earned the Eagle Scout rank.
Our scouts work on rank advancement at their own pace. We work with scouts that want to participate in other activities. Many have played high school sports, participated in high school band, concert choir and involved in robotics clubs. One of our Eagle Scouts was a five time state champion runner.
Additionally our adult leaders are very well trained. Our leaders collectively have over 100 years of experience in the Scouting Program. Several of our adult leaders are Eagle Scouts and many have received various adult leader recognition at the council a national level.
We also have a Venure Crew which is a co-ed unit for youth 14-21. Crew 15 focuses on High Adventure outdoor activities.
