A special start to an exciting year for Auburn University Dream Makers! 🧡💙

This weekend, our AUDM student leaders and advisors came together for their Leadership Retreat, hosted by the Foundation team and joined by some very special guests, including our incredible patient families, Child Life team members, pediatric and neonatal nurses, other East Alabama Health staff, and of course, Aubie! 🐯

The evening was filled with meaningful connections, shared stories, and a reminder of the heart behind AUDM. We are so grateful for the students, families, and staff who continue to make this program so special, and we can’t wait to see the impact these students will make for pediatric and neonatal care at East Alabama Health this year!

Here’s a little recap of our Spencer Cancer Survivorship Picnic, a day dedicated to celebrating survivors, honoring their strength, and creating meaningful moments together. Thank you to everyone who spent the day with us. We loved every minute of it and are already looking forward to next year.

What a wonderful day celebrating hope, strength and survivorship! 
 
This past Saturday, we celebrated cancer survivors and their families at our Spencer Cancer Center Survivors Day Picnic. The event was filled with fun, laughter and community, featuring yard games, inflatables, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, a DJ, family-friendly activities, and plenty of hot dogs and hamburgers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we honored the incredible journeys of cancer survivors across our community!
