A young girl’s suitcase, now an artifact from the Holocaust, has inspired a book, a documentary, and a play.

Discover the moving true story in the documentary “Inside Hana’s Suitcase,” available to stream on Kanopy with your library card. Then, join Omaha Public Library for a powerful community conversation with special guest Lara Brady, the niece of Hana Brady, alongside the Institute for Holocaust Education and members of Circle Theatre ahead of their November stage production. Together, we'll explore Hana's legacy and how theater helps us connect with history.
📅 Sunday, Nov. 1, 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Central Library | Register at omahalibrary.org/events (search for “Hana’s Suitcase”)
