Syrup
Spaghetti
Spaghetti sauce

We are in a real shortage of furniture. We are out of things, such as couches, loveseats, dressers, small kitchen tables, coffee tables, recliners. Beds are nearly gone.

We typically have enough space to hold about two weeks worth, but we have seen a significant drop in donations lately. As a result, we may be limiting the number of people we can help into apartments until we get back to the level we have previously been blessed with.

Please continue to listen for opportunities and let your friends, family members and coworkers know about our mission wherever possible. Thank you again so much.

We need you!

There are 2 volunteer activities that we struggle to get enough people. It’s the difference between being able to help one more person this week or asking them for to hang on and stay warm, and we will get them another week.

1 - Tuesday morning of each week the we need more to join our group that goes out from 7:30 AM until 10:30 AM. They take our truck, and make 5-6 stops each. We only pick up things that are in the garage or accessible outside. We try to get the truck as close as we can to minimize carrying a furniture. Some of our guys do this every week, some do it every other week and some people do it once a month.

2 - Saturday morning of each week, is the single activity we struggle the most with finding enough individuals that would like to join us periodically and help carry things into an apartment and get it set up for someone transitioning off the streets. it is typically 2 to 3 hours and we would take somebody any time they would like to join in.

One of our newest Chamber members Least of My Brethren is a 100% volunteer-based charity. They fully furnish 6-8 apartments every Saturday morning for those transitioning off the streets in our community.

They are looking for gently used (small) furniture, kitchenware, linens, flat-screen TVs, etc.

Donation drop-offs are on Wednesday nights 6-7:30pm at 17711 Storage Road (East of 180th & Harrison).
