Yesterday we took a few of our Keystone members out to Spring Lake Boys & Girls Club to hang out with their members and read them some books.

Some of our members are former Spring Lake kids who got the chance to come back and see what the school is looking like now. We appreciate the opportunity to come out and enjoy some time with another club in South Omaha. Thank you Spring Lake Boys & Girls Club for having us!

Summer fun continues!!

Younger Members recently visited the Union Pacific Railroad Museum to learn about the history of railroads and their impact on the development of the United States. Members explored exhibits featuring historic train artifacts and learned about Abraham Lincoln's role in supporting the transcontinental railroad.

One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to interact with hands-on artifacts that brought railroad history to life. The visit provided an engaging educational experience that helped members gain a greater appreciation for American history, transportation, and innovation. 💙

During SMART Moves, our teens focused on the skill of active listening by learning what it looks like, sounds like, and why it is important in everyday communication. Members then put their skills into practice through a challenge in which they guided a blindfolded partner through the Teen Center using only verbal directions. They were encouraged to test their trust, communication, and attentive listening skills while providing a fun, hands-on learning experience. 💙

In our latest Photography Club, the teens worked together to refresh our display board by cutting out borders and updating the artwork.

Everyone showed creativity and teamwork as they carefully prepared the board for our photography showcase. Our goal was to complete the display so we can begin adding the photos we have taken.

The teens took pride in making the board look welcoming and visually appealing, and we are excited to see our photographs displayed for everyone to enjoy. 💙
