Seeing a smile like this means more than words can express. I want to begin by thanking you, Mum Leah, for the support you gave to this young boy. Everyone calls him âBoy đ¤Ł,â but behind that nickname is a story filled with pain, loss, and incredible resilience.
Nicholas lost both of his parents and was left in the care of his grandmother. Sadly, even she was evicted from her home by her own children. With nowhere to stay, this young boy became completely homeless. His parents had left him a house and a large piece of land, but all of it was taken and sold off by relatives, leaving him with nothing â not even a place to sleep.
When he joined the welding institute, the funding that had been supporting him ran out. He returned to Sanga village, a place where Heritage had once gathered many needy children. Life became extremely difficult. Some days he had no food. He struggled to find rent. Yet even in the middle of all this hardship, he never lost the desire to finish his welding studies. We look forward to taking him back one day to the institute.
To survive, he sometimes borrows a motorcycle from friends and carries passengers to earn a little money. But not every day is successful â some days he doesnât get a motorcycle at all. Still, he keeps trying.
What has kept him going is the love planted in him through the Heritage family. No matter how tough life becomes, he always finds his way back home â back to Heritage. And every time he comes, there is a blessing waiting: food, bedding, and many other essentials that remind him he is not forgotten.
Thank you, Heritage Church family, for bringing smiles to souls like his. Your consistent giving feeds the hungry, restores the broken, and keeps hope alive.
May God bless you abundantly, dear family, for being a lifeline to those who have nowhere else to turn.
