Awarded by the Southwestern Region, we were proud to celebrate two well-deserved honors:
College Brothers’ Advocate Award - presented to Brother Kim Holman (accepted by Brother Malcolm Jones) Outstanding Advisor of the Year - awarded to the Zeta Gamma Lambda Council of Advisors, Oklahoma District.
These recognitions reflect a continued commitment to mentorship, leadership, and uplifting the next generation. Congratulations to all involved in setting the standard and representing the vision of Alpha Phi Alpha.

The Brothers of Zeta Gamma Lambda were proud to represent at the 80th Southwestern Regional Convention of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. right here in Oklahoma City.
From volunteering and assisting with registration and the college fair to serving as delegates in business sessions, our brothers were honored to support a weekend focused on Leadership, Brotherhood, and Service.
It was also a historic moment as the Southwestern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha joined with the Mid-Western Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for a powerful Joint Regional Convention.
A great weekend of fellowship, purpose, and representing Alpha in OKC. ❄️🤙🏾

We are incredibly proud of the undergraduate chapters we advise, BK & EE, for bringing home multiple honors and continuing a standard of excellence:

Brothers Demetrius “DJ” Allen, Jerrell Mure, and David Duplissis had the opportunity to speak to three of Mrs. Courtney Allen’s classes at Del City High School about their career journeys and the paths that led them to where they are today.
Brother Allen shared his experience working at KOCO 5 News as an Assistant Creative Services Director and highlighted the behind-the-scenes roles in television that many people don’t always see when they think of “news.”
Brother Mure spoke on building a career as a Financial Advisor, and Brother Duplissis shared his journey as an Athletic Director, educator, and wrestling coach.
They answered questions, talked about preparation, and offered advice for students considering college, the military, entrepreneurship, etc.
Exposure creates opportunity. Representation builds belief. Grateful for the chance to pour back into the next generation. 🖤💛

The Zeta Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated was proud to collaborate with the Beta Kappa Chapter for a Voter Registration Drive at Langston University. Together, we worked to register students and community members, reinforcing the importance of civic engagement and informed participation in the democratic process.
As men of Alpha, we remain committed to uplifting our communities through advocacy, education, and service. This effort reflects our dedication to empowering voices and strengthening our collective future.

The Zeta Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated was proud to partner with the Beta Kappa Chapter for an impactful event at Crutcho Public Schools. Brothers Russell and Kelly facilitated a meaningful discussion centered on our national initiative, Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College, encouraging students to set goals, pursue higher education, and prepare for future success.
In addition, students were equipped with free backpacks filled with school supplies to support them throughout the academic year. We remain committed to empowering the next generation through service, scholarship, and mentorship.
