Y’all remember how the scholastic book fair had you excited to go school? Well, Our Summer of Stories Book Fair was all about access, joy, and getting books into kids’ hands.

127 children, 61 adults, 1,700+ FREE books given away!

Every book was 100% FREE. No cost. No catch. Just community. 💙

Unfortunately, we will be closed today due to the extreme temperatures.

We left the bus A/C running overnight, and it still hasn’t been able to cool the bus to a safe, comfortable temperature. With temperatures this high, our A/C simply can’t keep up and the safety of our kids, families, and team comes first.

We hate missing a day with our students, but a hot bus is not a safe bus.

Thank you for understanding, and please stay cool and hydrated today!

I LOVE seeing where mobile libraries started.

Long before Wi-Fi, tablets, STEM activities, and all the technology we have today, bookmobiles were already doing something powerful: taking access directly to the people.

These photos are a reminder that mobile libraries have been rolling into communities for generations and meeting families where they are and making sure books weren’t limited to those who could get to a library.

The buses have changed. The technology has changed. The needs of our communities have changed.

But the mission? That part never changed.

Bring resources to the community.
Remove barriers.
Create access.
Keep learning moving. 💙

We are proud to be part of a legacy that has been rolling for decades and we’re excited about where we’re taking it next.

We have officially given away 25,000 books! 25,011 to be exact!

That’s 25,000 books placed into the hands of children, families, and community members …. completely FREE.

When we started this journey, we simply wanted to make books and learning more accessible. Today, that idea has grown into 25,000 opportunities to read, imagine, discover, and dream.

And we’re nowhere near finished.
Here’s to the next 25k! 🏆

What started as an old school bus became a mobile library, learning center, and community resource on wheels.

Every week, we travel directly into neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces to make books, technology, and educational opportunities accessible to children and families. Literacy shouldn’t depend on transportation or zip code.

This is why we do what we do. 💙

School is back in session! 🍎✏️

Our students are headed back to the classroom, which means today is our last day out before we transition into our after-school programming!

What a summer it has been….. From books and STEM activities to new faces, and LOTS of memories. We’ve loved every minute of it.

Did you know our mobile library runs on the power of the sun?

Most people don’t realize that our bus is equipped with 2,700 watts of roof-mounted solar panels, a backup battery bank, and an all-in-one inverter system

That means we can power computers, educational technology, lights, and other equipment even when we’re not plugged into shore power.

Why does that matter?

Because many of the communities we serve don’t have easy access to technology or learning resources. Our solar system helps us bring literacy, STEM, and hands-on learning directly to children wherever they are.

Every ray of sunshine helps keep learning on the road.

Innovation isn’t just about what’s inside the bus, it’s built right into the roof. 😉
