For 35 years, Latino Community Development Agency has worked to connect individuals and families in Oklahoma with the care, resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
“We wish more people knew what can happen after someone first walks through LCDA’s doors,” says President and CEO Salvador Ontiveros. “Someone may come to us with one immediate need, but as we listen and build trust, we often uncover other challenges affecting the individual or their family.”
With more than 24 programs and services, Latino Agency can respond to many of those challenges directly while connecting people with trusted community partners. “We want to understand the whole person, help them navigate their options, and connect them to the support they need to build greater stability for themselves and their families.”
Support from the Kirkpatrick Family Fund helped LCDA strengthen its organizational capacity and expand its outreach in 2026, supporting the organization’s continued growth and ability to serve the community.
Looking ahead, Ontiveros says, “We want to build on what we have accomplished while creating even more opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.”
