VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! STAR Camp is hosting a booth at Ogden's annual Harvest Moon Festival!! We will be helping kids learn about the moon with a hands-on activity. Volunteers for this event must be at least 12 years old. Volunteers are expected to be at the STAR Camp booth and engaged with festival goers for the entirety of their shift.

September 19th, multiple shifts from 10 am to 6 pm.

Dr Nancy Grace Roman was an incredible woman: she was the first female executive at NASA and also became the first Chief of Astronomy. Although she passed away in 2018, her contributions to stellar classification, stellar motions, and so much more of her work are still recognized and used today.

This absolute monster of a telescope has been in the headlines of many news articles recently. Why? What makes this telescope so impressive and revolutionary? This is the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. Although both the Roman and Hubble space telescopes will have similar resolutions, the Roman space telescope will have a field of view at least a hundred times larger than Hubble's.
