This committee has a passion for our Texas Mule Deer and have already had 2 prior raffle events putting more money in the ground with conservation work. Come on out to the Helotes 4H Activity Center this Thursday and have a fun night of fundraising.

Huge thanks to New Mexico folks that came out to Eddy Counties Annual Fundraising Mule Deer Foundation Banquet last night! Largest crowd here to date! State/Chapter Chair Kristy Maley worked really hard on this event and it delivered! I awarded her with NM volunteer if the year 2025 and State Chair Award. Well deserved. I believe this one might be the biggest in net efficiency! The response we got from folks on starting new Chapters in NM and of course the compliments my home caterer Paul Pasqua (Cook's Catering) received from the folks on his cooking. Congratulations to all the winners and see you all next year September 17, 2027. Awesome volunteers and of course my wife who never gets tired of being my back up!!!

From our great Texas Biologists:
Completed our first remote guzzler repair at Black Gap WMA this past Saturday. It was a huge success. Everything went very smoothly and we could not have asked for better weather(maybe a little cooler weather would have been nice). Chris Carter from Texas Tech was also able to join us and take water samples helping with his M. Ovi research.
After starting around 7:30 am, we began lifting volunteers to guzzlers, completing the 17th guzzler around 2:30pm allowing plenty of time for a soak in the Rio Grande before dinner.
Thank you Woodward aviation for shuttling us to these guzzlers safety.
Thank you Andy Allen for helping with meals.
I would like to give a special Thanks to Ravin Reddy for his donation through MDF and Charlie Barnes for his time and expertise donated to help with these projects, without friends like you two, it would be very difficult to complete projects like this. I look forward to many more projects to come.
