The Air Force Association (AFA) is a 501c3 non-profit, independent, professional military and aerospace education association promoting public understanding of aerospace power and the pivotal role it plays in the security of the nation. AFA publishes Air Force Magazine, conducts national symposia and disseminates information through outreach programs. It sponsors professional development seminars

and recognizes excellence in the education and aerospace fields through national awards programs. AFA presents scholarships and grants to Air Force active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members and their dependents; and awards educator grants to promote science and math education at the elementary and secondary school level.

Registration is now open for the Air Force Association's 2021 Virtual Aerospace Warfare Symposium (vAWS).
🔷 More than 30 sessions, ranging from workshops to major addresses from Air Force and Space Force leaders, industry experts, and aerospace professionals
🔷 Approximately half of the sessions will be live-streamed each day with the remaining sessions being available on-demand each day
🔷 Brand new this year will be Mission Domain Engagement Sessions and the vAWS Mission Domain Hub
🔷 The Mission Domain Engagement Sessions offer attendees access to live, interactive webinars each afternoon comprised of experts in specific mission areas
🔷 The Mission Domain Hub will offer attendees access to focused Mission Domain content displayed through interactive demonstration pages

Congrats to the latest AFMC Command Chief Hard Charger, Staff Sgt. James DeFranzo!

DeFranzo is an Air Force Test Center Munitions Stockpile Manager and Munitions Inspector Trainer at Hill Air Force Base, Utah and is responsible for ensuring accurate inspection of 1,840 munitions valued at $114 million while ensuring new munitions inspectors receive the training they need to execute missions for our Air Force.
