On Saturday, October 17th, Ocean City BSA Troop 32 led by Scout Master Dr. Keith Grim collected and delivered 323lbs of food to our Food Cupboard. We are so grateful to these young men and all those that donated. Your efforts make a real impact. Thank you! 🙏🏻

What a great way to end a fantastic holiday weekend in Ocean City! Spooks -N- Kooks had a beautiful surfing day, benefiting our Food Cupboard. Your generous support is much appreciated!

Special thanks to Dennis Siteman and his crew for organizing this event every year. Thanks to the Exchange Club, Wildlife Surfboards, Jim McHugh, Surfer Supplies, Heritage Surf Shop, 7th Street Surf Shop, Roma Pizza and the Varsity Inn for their contributions to make this a fun event for all!

Calling all Surfers 🏄‍♀️ 👻 🏄 🎃. Ghosts, goblins, and at least a few pizza slices will paddle out at Ocean City’s 7th Street Beach this Monday, October 12th for the annual Spooks ‘N Kooks costume surf contest. The Halloween-flavored competition has run since 2012, and every entry helps stock the Ocean City Food Cupboard. Registration opens at 10am with the first heat 11am! To enter, surfers need two things: a costume and a $20 gift card to Acme, ShopRite, or Aldi, which goes straight to the Food Cupboard. https://ocnjlocal.com/spooks-n-kooks-returns-to-seventh-street-beach-this-sunday-october-11th/

The Ocean City Ecumenical Council is partnering with The Ocean City Police Department as part of a nationwide program called “Faith and Blue”. 👮🥫. Date: Sunday October 11, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Locations: Both Ocean City ACME Supermarkets (800 West Avenue and 3428 Simpson Ave)
What: Ocean City will park a police pickup truck in front of each ACME, and accept non-perishable foods, grocery gift cards and other donations. Officers will have a list of suggested items that you can check before going into the store. At the end of the day, the OCPD will deliver all donations to the Ecumenical Food Cupboard at 8th Street and Central Avenue on the east side of St. Peter’s Church. https://www.ocnj.us/news/post/23270/
