Yesterday, the OCIS 6th graders came to the Ocean City Airport for a field trip. They learned about aviation, the drone unit, the marine unit, community policing, our motorcycle unit, and so much more! We can’t thank the airport staff enough for having us and thank you to the students for all of your great questions and interest!

After 22 weeks of training at the Cape May County Police Academy, we add a new officer to the ranks. ⁣
⁣
Patrolman Brandt will joined the Patrol Division in the coming days and begin his career here with OCPD. We look forward to his progression and are proud to further bolster our department to best serve our citizens and visitors. ⁣

Members of the Ocean City Police Department proudly participated in today’s 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run, carrying the Flame of Hope in support of the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey.

Our officers joined fellow law enforcement agencies from throughout Cape May County and across New Jersey in this annual tradition that celebrates courage, determination, and inclusion.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this amazing cause. Together, we continue to make a difference and help create opportunities for Special Olympics athletes to shine. ✨
