Toni and I want to thank A-1 Roofing for their donation of the Mariner’s tickets for silent auction at oyster feed on April 11. We won the tickets. We went on Saturday night to the Mariners game. We had great seats and a wonderful time. Thank you!

We have leftover Free Native Plants for Your Property

The Grays Harbor Conservation District has leftover free bare root and potted trees and shrubs for landowners interested in planting along rivers and creeks within the Chehalis River Watershed.

Planting native vegetation helps shade streams, reduce soil erosion, and provide woody material that supports diverse aquatic habitat.

If your property is along the Chehalis River or one of its tributaries, you may be eligible. Thank you for helping steward our local waterways.

Contact [email protected] to request plants

Plants are provided through the Chehalis Basin Strategy Aquatic Species Restoration Plan and are available while supplies last

Help us grow with new active members.

Every Tuesday this month, we are bringing you a Grange "Pro-Tip" to help local Granges promote the Grange.

This week's Pro-Tip:
🔹 The Grange is more than just agriculture - it’s about building stronger communities. 🔹

While our roots are in farming and agriculture, the modern Grange supports rural and small-town communities through service projects, advocacy, youth development, and local engagement.

From food drives to community events, scholarship programs to legislative advocacy, Granges across the country are making a difference every day.

Being part of the Grange means being part of something bigger than yourself—right in your own hometown.

Consider learning more about this through programs like Project Sustenance (nationalgrange.org/projectsustenance) and the Rural Life Initiative (nationalgrange.org/rural-life-initiative).

Hey parents, bring your grade school kids to South Union Grange on Saturday April 25 and hear about some of the agricultural history of the area. Learn how soil mixes with water and plant some seeds to take home. This free event starts at 10 am and goes until 1 pm. Come out and enjoy this fun educational opportunity.
The Grange is located at 10030 Tilley Road S. (opposite 101st Ave. SW, between the airport and Millersylvania State Park).
