Summit Pacific Medical Foundation Student Scholarship Fund is now receiving applications for 2026. Last year, The Foundation awarded twenty-seven scholarships of $1,500 to graduating high school seniors from East Grays Harbor County pursuing healthcare and related fields (i.e. IT, marketing, business, nutrition, data science, etc.). In addition, we award three scholarships to second year nursing students at Grays Harbor College.

Employees of Summit Pacific and members of the community contribute annually to a scholarship fund to promote the education of local students. A scholarship committee reviews applications, interviews and selects recipients who best meet the criteria and show initiative to follow through with their chosen academic program.

The Student Scholarship Fund, first established through the Foundation in 1994, has provided 152 scholarships to students in the Grays Harbor County Public Hospital District No.1. While the scholarship fund was originally started by an anonymous donor, today, Summit employees make up most of the donations to the fund. Small, rural hospitals like Summit Pacific Medical Center face many challenges, but our goal remains the same every day: Summit is dedicated to serving the people of Grays Harbor County and providing the highest level of care possible so that we can become the healthiest community in the Nation!

Last year, Summit provided 59,227 primary care visits, 18,336 ER visits, and 32,310 diagnostic imaging scans. Each hospital and provider visit represents essential, life-saving care for our neighbors, our families, and our loved ones.

Update for our Harbor Lights on December 11, 2025:

Harbor Lights is scheduled to take place this evening, but we ask that all our attendees continue to monitor our social media and check their email regularly for any updates in case the situation changes due to inclement weather.

If you are attending this evening, we strongly recommend taking Wakefield Rd to Lambert Rd to reach Satsop Business Park. Please use extra caution on the road this evening.

WARNING: Keys Rd and Minkler Rd may both be impassable due to weather conditions. We DO NOT recommend attempting to take either of those routes to reach Satstop Business Park at this time.

The show will take place at Satsop Business Park in the westernmost cooling tower parking lot. Watch from the warmth and comfort of your own vehicle. Radio transmitters will be used for the music, so you can sing along!

Each show is approximately 35 minutes and will be presented at three separate times: 5 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM.

Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of time, as the shows start promptly.

No RVs or oversized vehicles will be permitted unless you have arranged in advance with our event organizer to bring an oversized vehicle.

The location of the parking lot is at the intersection of Tower Boulevard and Lambert Road.
