Chicago Gender Support Alliance is a support group for transgender and gender variant people. Our events are both in person and on Zoom.

We have monthly social events & meetings to provide a safe place for members to present as their true gender.

The Highway House is one of regular spots. Their staff and food are great and they have a wide selection of drinks. It is a wonderful place to socialize.

Ronald Lizcano, Chief Development Officer at Center on Halsted, talked about what Center on Halsted does this Saturday. We also had a discussion about how CGSA can work with Center on Halsted. A lot of good info and thoughts exchanged.

ChicagolandTGirls are doing Halloween in a big way! This Wednesday they are inviting everyone to dress like a witch. Then on 10/28 will be their big Halloween party.

Ronald is a fierce advocate for civil rights and an effective fund raiser. This is a great opportunity to learn about some of what the Center on Halsted is doing.

Transformations by Rori has made the monthly "T" Parties very successful, attracting many of the transgender and gender non-conforming community. We are continuing the fun. All are welcome.

We are switching things up this month showing a program on Stonewall. What doesn't change is having the Arlington Ale House all to ourselves. Doors open at 7:00 pm so there is plenty of time to socialize and have a drink.

Our October CGSA Night Out just happened to be on the same night as the White Sox playing the Guardians in game 5. It was a disappointing result but we had a good turnout with 2 new girls. We all had an enjoyable night.
