We're beyond excited to be part of the Rose Andom Center community and to support the incredible work they do every day to empower survivors and strengthen our community.

Through our outreach programs with Rose Andom Center and other community partners, we're able to provide meaningful therapeutic experiences for participants while giving Canine Partners of the Rockies pups invaluable real-world training opportunities. It's an honor to be involved in work that promotes healing, connection, and growth, for both people and pups. ❤️

We’re thrilled to welcome Canine Partners of the Rockies as a partner at the Rose Andom Center 💜🐾

Canine Partners of the Rockies is an Assistance Dogs International accredited nonprofit dedicated to breeding, raising, training, and placing highly skilled assistance dogs throughout Colorado. Their mobility service dogs help individuals with disabilities gain greater independence by assisting with everyday tasks, while their facility dogs provide comfort, reduce anxiety, and enhance therapeutic services in schools, hospitals, courthouses, counseling offices, and other community spaces.

It takes nearly two years to train each of these incredible dogs, and throughout that journey they make a meaningful impact by visiting hospitals, schools, veterans' programs, and community organizations, bringing connection, comfort, and healing to those they serve.

We are honored to have Canine Partners of the Rockies join our collaborative network. Their commitment to compassion, accessibility, and trauma-informed support strengthens our shared mission of creating a safe and welcoming environment where survivors can find hope, healing, and connection.

Happy 1st Birthday to Pearl!

Named after one of Colorado’s most iconic streets, Pearl has spent her first year exploring the world, building confidence, and learning the skills she’ll need as a future service dog or facility dog.

Like the other pups in her class who share names inspired by beloved Colorado streets, Pearl is paving her own path... one filled with adventure, training, and plenty of tail wags along the way.

Happy 1st Birthday, Pecos!

One year ago, a curly-coated little pup was born and made history as Canine Partners of the Rockies' first poodle. Since then, Pecos has been busy winning hearts, learning new skills, and showing us that great things come in fluffy packages.

Join us in wishing Pecos a very happy birthday and a year filled with treats, adventures, belly rubs, and plenty of opportunities to shine!

A very special congratulations to Canine Partners of the Rockies' Bernie on the arrival of her litter of future service pups! Bernie is already proving to be an amazing mama, and we can't wait to watch these little pups grow, learn, and begin their journeys toward changing lives.

Another Canine Partners of the Rockies pup has been paired with his future partner!

Bu has officially been matched as a Mobility Service Dog and will soon begin his new journey alongside his person. He'll be helping with daily tasks, increasing independence, and providing steady support every step of the way. From retrieving dropped items to opening doors and being a constant partner through everyday life, Bu is ready to make a meaningful difference.

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Bu’s puppy raisers and sitters who poured so much time, patience, and love into his journey. Because of their dedication, Bu has grown into a smart, dependable, and compassionate service dog. We are endlessly grateful for our incredible volunteers and feel so lucky to watch these amazing dogs grow into the life-changing partners they are meant to be.
