Quality instruction from the start and learning from day one! 🚀

The 2026–27 school year began long before students entered the classroom. In July, our educators came together to train, collaborate, and prepare. Our campuses then welcomed students and families during Meet the Teacher events, building the connections that support a successful year.

When the doors opened on August 4, instruction was already in full swing. Students began establishing classroom routines and using Multiple Response Strategies that give every learner the opportunity to think, respond, and participate. We are looking forward to a year filled with growth across Third Future Schools.

Here’s to 164 more days of creating tomorrow’s schools! 💙🚀

A bright new chapter is beginning for students at South Waco and Dean Highland elementary schools! ✨

Through a new partnership with Third Future Schools, these campuses are introducing enhanced classroom structure, frequent one-on-one progress checks, and extended daily hours to fully support working families.

We have officially kicked off 184 days of instruction!

Today marks the first day of school, but our teachers and staff have been working for weeks to prepare our students as they strive to close achievement gaps, accelerate their education, and promote overall growth. Campuses across the network have begun shaping the future of education. We can't wait to celebrate our students' success.

Congratulations to our top-performing teacher for the 2025–26 school year, MarQuita Maxwell!

Among more than 300 teachers across the Third Future Schools network, Ms. Maxwell earned the highest overall performance rating, based on a combination of student achievement data, classroom observations, and student survey feedback.

At Third Future Schools, educators who demonstrate exceptional performance and impact receive a TFS Badge, recognizing their status as exemplary educators and leaders in the classroom. We are proud to award Ms. Maxwell her first TFS Badge in recognition of her outstanding work and dedication to students.

Ms. Maxwell has now accepted the role of Principal at Westlawn Elementary in Texarkana, Texas, where she will lead the school community in accelerating student achievement and transforming outcomes for students at a persistently underperforming campus.
