Come to the FiftyNorth band concert! There will be music invoking sailors dancing, a haunting oboe melody, a little jazz, and plenty of piccolos. We hope to see you there!!

First batch of popcorn this season was going to be made by volunteer; Karen Hoeg. Little did she know that our #1 FAN was waiting for months for the wagon to open. Karen welcomed him aboard to help with the first batch while his Dad and crowd watched with smiles!!!!! The 1918 Popcorn Wagon which was recently restored, made its way to RiverWalk Market Fair this Saturday. This iconic piece of Northfield history is run by FiftyNorth volunteers and the money raised goes to support programming for the older adults we serve.

More than 2000 people in greater Northfield show up to connect, engage, learn and grow with FiftyNorth. Where else can you find a group of people more dedicated to being together? FiftyNorth is a community focused on living, right here, right now.

I'll share an update about FiftyNorth today, and The Community For Life we envision for Northfield tomorrow.

Rotary presentations are open to anyone. Walk-ins are welcome, though because lunch is provided we prefer advance notification.

Last week FiftyNorth hosted Mandala artist, Caroline Jones. Rocks are common canvases for mandala artists to paint on. The students received the tools and instruction to continue creating these beautiful rocks. Wow! so amazing!
