School supply boxes for next year are still available through June 21!

If you missed the original ordering window, there’s still time to skip the back-to-school shopping and have your child’s supplies delivered right to their classroom before the first day of school.

The early-bird sale has ended, and boxes are now $5 more per pack. To be transparent, that additional $5 goes directly to the GVP PTO and helps fund programs, events, and opportunities for our students and staff throughout the year.

Looking for 2 volunteers for the 3rd Grade Wax Museum this Friday, May 15th, from approximately 1:45–3:00 p.m.!

This is a very short, easy volunteer opportunity! Volunteers would simply help direct families as they arrive and guide them between the Flex Lab and 3rd grade classrooms during a busy arrival window.

The drinks are ready, Chipotle is on the way, and we’re excited to celebrate the incredible staff of Greenvale Park one last time for Staff Appreciation Week!

Midweek fuel, coming right up!

Today we brought in personalized breakfasts from Panera Bread and coffee from James Gang Coffeehouse, with each staff member choosing exactly what sounded good to them. Delivered to classrooms and offices or ready for pickup in the lounge, whatever made the day a little easier.

We did our best to make sure everyone’s needs were taken into account along the way. Nothing fancy, just a small way to say we see you and appreciate all that you do. 🦎

Day 1 of Staff Appreciation Week is here! We kicked things off with a mystery date with a book and brand new GVP lanyards.

We are endlessly thankful for everything you do for our students, both in the classroom and behind the scenes. We hope this brightened your day even just a fraction of how much you brighten ours.

Thank you to the teachers who shared input on the GVP lanyards and helped design them with both functionality and safety in mind, and to Content Bookstore, Adtech, and Quality Flow Systems for partnering with us to help make today happen!

School supply kits for next year are now available! It’s an easy way to take care of everything at once, and kits typically cost about 40% less than buying supplies individually in stores or online. Supplies include brand-name items you would find in stores and are approved by teachers! Everything will be delivered to the school and placed in your students classroom, ready for the first day!

Important reminders:
⚠️ Incoming 2nd graders will not have a supply kit option this year and will instead have a supply fee
⚠️ If your student is in the Compañeros program, please be sure to select the correct pack

Last year’s Gecko Gallery featured a stunning gym entrance filled with magical paper flowers. This photo truly doesn’t do it justice 💐 It was such a special day for our teachers and students, and we would love to make this year just as memorable.

Our hearts ache for our former PTO president and fearless leader, Tara Goehring and her young children as they mourn the loss of their husband and father. Tara has been a vital part of our organization’s success and has made an incredible impact on our school and community.
